Class 47

NetworkSouthEast.co.uk

Network SouthEast had many class 47’s, and they were used on a variety of routes including Waterloo-Exeter and Paddington-Banbury. They appeared in both the early style of NSE livery, with swept up red, white and grey stripes at either, and the revised style.
The following 47 was transferred to NSE in 1992 for infrastructure work:
47364.
These ones were in use on passenger trains in early 1992, though many of
the older ones had been withdrawn by the end of that year:
47423/5/6/30/1/8/41/6/9/53/7, 47521/6/51/79/81/3/7, 47636,
47701-3/5-12/4-7, 47801 (renumbered 47551).
Note 47551/81/7, 47636 were transferred to R.e.s during 1992.
