The succesful bidder for the North London Railways franchise, National Express, renamed the company Silverlink, and split operations into two parts, Silverlink County (Long distance workings) and Silverlink Metro (suburban services) The TOC has also adopted a stricking new purple livery, which is being applied to all it's units.
