Class 86

Network SouthEast’s only class 86 painted in it's house colours was 86 401,  used on the electrified lines between London and Northampton, before the class 321’s were introduced . It was painted in the early style NSE livery.
During 1987, the following a.c. locos were owned by NSE:
85003, 86229/57-61, 86401/21. Note 86258 was transferred to Railfreight in the same year.
